The Therm gas tankless water heaters from Bosch feature high efficiency and great installation versatility to satisfy a broad range of residential or commercial installations Bosch Thermotechnology Corp., a leading North American supplier of tankless water heaters for residential and commercial applications, has focused sales of its gas tankless water heater portfolio exclusively on professional plumbing and HVAC installers effective January 1, 2012. “We feel the best growth route for Therm gas tankless products from Bosch is with professionals moving forward. In order to prepare this concentration, Bosch Thermotechnology has rolled out several enhancements to its dealer support network, Bosch Way To Grow, including a search by zip code installer tool and a star ranking system where consumers can rate their install experience. These enhancements make partnering with Bosch both easy and beneficial in terms of growing business and ensuring these customers have a brand partner that stands by their product. “By arming these contractors with the latest techniques, innovative products and marketing materials, we’re empowering them as ambassadors for Bosch to the end-user. The Bosch Way To Grow dealer support network is free to plumbing and HVAC professionals who register with the website, provides a wealth of material including lead generation tools, online product training classes, access to marketing field support materials and incentive programs based on registered units sold. The Therm gas tankless water heaters from Bosch feature high efficiency condensing and non-condensing units including more compact models for greater installation versatility to satisfy a broad range of residential or commercial installations.
The line offers updated software that delivers performance enhancing features including a minimum activation flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (GPM) and the ability on many models to cascade up to 24 units to handle larger commercial applications. Most Bosch tankless water heaters are manufactured with a larger cabinet for easy upgrading to higher temperature output or wireless control and for ease in servicing; Bosch units have 60 percent fewer moving parts than competitive products. The Therm C 1210 ES, 1050 ES and 950 ES from Bosch, all wall mounted units with condensing technology that enables up to 98 percent thermal efficiency, are currently the only condensing tankless product series available that meets the new “Ultra Low NOx” requirements passed by regulatory agencies in California and Vermont. Effective 2012, the new regulations require water-heating units to limit NOx emissions to 20 ppm.
