ACCA, the nation's largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, has announced that registration is now open for the Service Managers Forum, which is taking place October 11 – 12 in Austin, TX. This event is presented by ACCA and the ACHR NEWS.

Now in its fifth year, the Service Managers Forum is one of ACCA’s most popular managers meetings. It is returning with a new line-up of learning labs to help veterans and new service managers reach new levels of success.

This year’s program includes 12 learning labs running concurrently over two days and features topics for both residential and commercial service managers. Some of the learning labs attendees can choose from are:
  • Money’s Not The Only Motivator with Matt Marsiglio of Flame Furnace
  • The Seasonal Rush: Don't Just Survive. THRIVE! with Carissa DiMuccio, CARJON Air Conditioning and Heating
  • I Was Supposed to Do What? with Keith Paton of Ivey Mechanical Co.
  • Techs Do Grow On Trees If You Plant The Seeds And Water Them with Frank Cerbone, All State Air Control Sales and Service Inc.
  • Bust Through The Plateaus Profitably with Bill Bernick, Daimler Management Service
  • Hey; You Hired Me with Eric Knaak, Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning
Kicking off the Service Managers Forum is Bruce Wilkinson, one of ACCA’s most popular keynote speakers. During the opening session, “One Voice Leadership,” he will discuss the diverse, multi-generational workforce that we are all now a part of and how contractors can motive all of these different personalities and overcome conflicts that arise from the varying view points.

The event closes with the popular “I’ve Got An Idea!” session with idea-chief, Vince DiFilippo of DiFilippo’s Service Company. During this rapid fire event, attendees share their own success secrets (and maybe even admit to a few mistakes) for others to take back to their businesses to turn into big results.

“The Service Managers Forum has grown to be one of our most popular educational events each year and we are excited to be going to Austin this year for it,” said Kevin Holland, ACCA's senior vice president – business operations & membership. “We’ve scheduled a brand new line up for learning labs that will feature some of our best speakers from the past and some new speakers to help service managers review their processes, recharge their outlook, and reinvigorate their entire team when they return home. This event is about learning, growing, and helping attendees move to the next level of success.”

Registration is open for this event at www.servicemanagersform.com or by calling 703-824-8856. Early bird registration, with a $100 discount, is available through August 31, 2012.
