Xylem Introduces Bell & Gossett® Series e-90 In-Line Centrifugal Pump

Xylem Inc., has introduced its Bell & Gossett
series e-90 in-line centrifugal pump, specifically designed for the
commercial HVAC market. The company made the announcement at the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas.
Featuring a high hydraulic efficiency and closed-coupled design, the
new e-90 can be mounted either vertically or horizontally for a wide
range of applications. The compact design saves space, eliminates
bearing frame maintenance and requires no coupler alignment.
The durable new pump also features a vacuum cast bronze impeller and a
more robust silicon-carbide mechanical seal to deliver reliable
operation in even the most demanding environments. The e-90 is available
in eight sizes providing wide hydraulic coverage up to 300 GPM flow.
This pump uses an industry standard 56J motor in 1/3 – 3 HP 4-pole speed
and ½ - 5 HP 2-pole speed. Additional features include:
