Gail Collins writes for The New York Times as a columnist and I never miss a word of what she has to say. This book is a sweeping look at women in America over the past 50 years and it's an important read. As the father of four daughters (the oldest was born in 1978, the youngest - twins - born in 1981 ), I kept thinking about how fortunate they were to have been born at that particular time, and to have come of age when they did. This one will make you reflect and appreciate how far we've all come in just one lifetime.
