Meg's never steered me wrong so I dove into it, and after 30 or so pages, told her that it wasn't catching my interest. Probably because this isn't your typical novel. It's a mixture of a murder mystery, a story of a very complex family (the book has a family tree at the front; you'll need it), and it's also a lesson in high-level finance. "Give it 'til page 50, Dad," Meg said. I guarantee you'll be hooked by then.
I was. Mr. Larsson got me as soon as he started to describe the girl with the dragon tattoo. This author sure knows how to create fascinating and compelling characters, and this book had me up very late at night. What a story!
Sadly, Mr. Larsson died way too soon. He was just 50.
