Something to consider. This is a beautifully written
novel about a Baptist preacher who takes his young family to the
Belgian Congo just before the revolution in 1959. He is totally
inflexible and he just stands there as his family falls apart. The
Poisonwood Bible is the story about what happens when cultures clash,
what changes as people grow. Highly recommended.
