    The underlying dream

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r460UMI5gbo&mode=related&search= I can hear this during the day after 9 hours of Creedence and Segar , and the doors , and other crap that is similar to heavy hammers hitting large steel objects.

Have you checked out Coheed & Cambria? Newer band with a Rush sound. They even have a song called 2113. No Neal Peart, but sounds like some good talent.

    Coheed & Cambria

I thought I was one of the only people who actually liked them. They do have talent and have been pushing the progressive envelope. I have the last two albums and the story that they paint with their music/lyrics is a different approach. I liked those so much I purchased their Live at Hammerstein Ballroom DVD. Everytime I am listening to them my wife comes by and asks if it is Rush. Although compared to Rush they also have a song I believe titled "Welcome Home" that has a Kashmir vibe to it. If you want some heavier music suggestions I have plenty of those too. :)

    whoa..

Little too wound up for a weeknight last night , LOL. Oh well , I called it 9 today. That " Four Horsemen " vid was about as heavy as it got in 1985. I played bass in a band , and Cliff Burton was a hero to me. Here's another hero of mine from that time , this guy changed Rock music forever. I miss playing music for 8 plus hours straight...high school and beyond. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n0gPZv3_3Q

    OT Kinda

I’ve been listening to crap music during the last week of 12 hr days ( including Sat and Sun ). Classic rock stations don’t play the stuff I like , modern rock stations don’t play the few I like…and both types miss what I really want to hear anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBmjyv69vh0 Here’s to greatness ( raises double of Wild Turkey ). - Freak
