    Luxpro PSPA711

Anyone else having problems with the Luxpro PSPA711 thermostat. We have installed 100+ now having problems with several no heat calls and having to reset the thermostat. Also losing time or date. Called lux not having a problem?

I'm a new homeowner who has the Luxpro PSP511a model and have had the problem you describe. The unit was replaced and it still has the same problem occuring about once a week.

    Battery

The only ones I've had with problems needed fresh batteries. But, you must have already done that. Nope, no problems.

    Lux PSPA711 has a glitch

LuxPro PSPA711 has a new revision PSPA711A.   I am certain they are aware of the Lux PSPA711 will freeze at random.  Possible Defective Component or Software Glitch.  They should recall these thermostat.  I have seen where the heaters will not turn off due to the thermostat stuck in freeze loop mode.  The temperature got extremely hot inside the house.

    Lot's of problems with Lux

Do yourself a favor and return it for something different. If the seller will not exchange it ask for a refund. Failing that, just pitch it and get something else. They are junk.

    Que the old HeeHaw song...........
"If it weren't for bad Lux, I'd have no Lux at all......."

    :)  Sorry.....I couldn't resist...........

    I was

holding back since I saw this post, but with Steve on board, I whole heartily concur. The only good Lux is the one not on YOUR job. Erratic operation, crap display, cheap.
I don't even use old ones for construction temp stats, they are that bad.
