I'll figure out the heat loss and check my suppliers for the Munchkin. Looks like the M80. Thanks, EJ

    have you bought...

the Takagi yet? It is really not a good selection for a heating system. A boiler would be a better choice. There are lots of good choices...Smith GT, Triangele tube prestige, Buderus GB142....etc.

    Maybe Combi

I'm in the Seattle area. This had an old atmospheric boiler. I was trying to reduce the footprint in the basement plus go through the foundation and put the Takagi outside to solve space and venting. I like the Combi/Condensing idea, but I need a supplier that would make my cost right. Thanks, EJ

    If you go w/ ...

wall hung boiler and a short squatty inditect that will take up a small footprint. Some might disagree but tankless water heaters are just that....They don't have the AFUE that a 92+ mod con has. A Munchkin is lower priced than some. What is the heatloss?

    Hydronic piping and controls

Looking for some some help building a system for an old (1952) house I bought. I'm in the trade, but mostly refrigeration. I'm attatching a drawing I got here while looking over your shoulder. Thanks to Dan H. for turning me on to this site when I went to his class in Seattle. Thanks EJ
