I before E except after C
thank you -
I have 6 breweries in my customer list and I am a brewer myself. My question is this: What equipment is he trying to install? Are you looking at making original equipment or just putting together the components?
-
Good question
From what he's said, I believe it is a new system installed in the building from scratch. I will ask him for more details tonight when I see him. I Brew myself as well, however I am a homebrewer, on a MUCH smaller scale.(5gallons at a time). I think he is looking at a 30bbl system. Al -
Very cool, I too started out as a 5 gallon homebrewer. I'm still a homebrewer but I have graduated to hoppers, 15 gallon brew kettles, and 15 gallon fermenters. I have been wanting to start roasting my own grains and recovering yeast but haven't been able to with a growing mechanical company.

Must be a plumbing trait as My father and I both are home brewers. Started back in the days when it was hard to find real beer in the stores.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
-
I suspect Plumbers were ALWAYS big drinkers
This trade will do it to ya. I can't tell you how many old beer bottles and cans I find whilst digging, in crawl spaces, attics, closed in walls. I bet you'd find old wine bottles in The Walls of the Roman Aqueducts. Albert never drank until he became a plumber. Simple explanation
There's a simple explanation for all the beer. How else are you going to test the w.c.? Maybe you can write the beer off as a business expense. -

Hmmm...this gives me an Idea!
This almost sounds like the beginning of a "HOMEBREWED BIG UGLY" maybe over the summer we could all get together and do a home brew day? Complete with brewing AND drinking. -
Now you're thinking, we can make a wallie signature brew.
-
Oh Yeah!
Like a "Wethead wheat" or a "Steamfitter stout" We might just be on to something here! -
I am available
...to help test the output. -
Looking for a BEER pro
There...now that I got your attention. I am trying to help a friend out who is a professional beer brewer. He is looking for a steam expert, who is willing to work with him, to design and install, a steam system for making beer at a new, local micro brewery. Since my knowledge of steam is limited, I thought I would ask my friends for help. H E L P. I know this is a little different than heating a house. But it is still Steam heat, and I wouldn't think it should be too hard for a steam guy to figure it out. Anyone interested in working in the hudson valley? Thanks in advance Al (pinball) -
i live in the Hudson valley area where will this be located?

I believe at the Kingston brewpub
Rt.28 known as "Skytop" His flagship brewpub is in Hyde Park (Dutchess county) -
I hope Not
I sure hope not. He is a real good friend and I want to see him hooked up with a real pro. Not some hack, with a new van and a pipewrench. Is Dutchess county too far for you?
