Time to buy The Lost Art....
My son is closing today on the office house. Have the summer to lower pressure, insulate basement pipes and all the other stuff. And of course order "The Book".
Frank, we will be moving in during the next two weeks. I will see what gas consumption history I can get from BGE. A new adventure begins.
I will holler
as soon as we get a key. We just did the walk thru and the place is still full of stuff. So my son and the real estate agent are deciding what to do- pospone settlement or reduce the price and try to settle this afternoon. Too bad the agent did not do his homework before today.
Some rads need to be repitched (and I have not even got the book yet)
And now, something a little bit different...
So, son has closed on house with steam. Lost Art is on its way.
Spent some time looking at things and see a plum-bing job in sight. Thanks to Flomax I can pee faster that the water reaching the bathtub on the second floor. Lots of original pipe (80+years) that may be a bit clogged by now.
Have to find the meter and see what goes to the street.
I can get copper at the Lowes a couple of miles away but will be searching for a source of pex as it may be easier to snake thru the walls. The adventure begins....
Roofer is doing roof, I don't do heights.
