    Human nature

I'm looking at the stats for the site and laughing because Heating Hell is one of THE most visited pages in the whole place. Not many posters, but a huge following of lurkers. A good place to learn what not to do. :-)

    Absolutely!

..... "everyone loves a train wreck!"   (OK, well not really, but we all know the cliche')

I really do find these posts very valuable from a learning perspective, and it's intriguing to see how others have solved problems, even if it was the wrong solution.

Glad you decided to keep this section going!

    What's amazing

is the amount of visitors, compared to the limited content here. Guess you're right about the train wreck. :-)

    Heating hell!

       Dan,
I know that I like to see some of the things that have really been butchered on the job and more importantly, that these things have been resolved by TRUE professionals.

    I am guilty ...

of both lurking and thieving! I teach a basic hydronics course - and before I show via PP the great boiler rooms from this site (and from my own travels over the last number of years) I show my "Hall of shame" photos. Its a great way to start the class.
