Non-advertising contractors
I have been advertising my business on the wall for only a few months now and the results are positive.
Every now and then I see a post "plugging" a business in a not so "official" way. I don't mean an occasional mention of a company name in conversation ,but more like a website or company name tagged at the end of a post or even as the persons name.
This is coming from me, Eric Aune (Aune Plumbing, LLC), not Dan or his helpful staff. I hope I'm not stepping on any toes.
As a contractor I have found this site to be very useful in many ways for many reasons. I, like many others have seen the value of the advertisement too. That is why we have paid for our plug. Please consider all the contractors who have paid for their ads before you might consider not paying for yours, fair is fair."If you don't like change, your going to like irrelevance even less" -
I agree.
And that's why we have the rules at the top of the Wall, clearly warning against this. I think it's creepy when someone does this, and I remove all that I see. If the person persists, I will deny him access to the site.
If anyone spots a company using the Wall for free advertising, please let me know and I will deal with them. Thanks.
