rss suggestions...

would it be possible to investigate a few simple changes to the rss feed:
1) perhaps make a separate rss feed for each main area: MAIN, Strictly Steam, Controls, Oil, etc. so that I can subscribe to the category i'm most interested in
OR
2) add the category name (or abbrev) to the subject of the rss post.. MAIN: subject, Steam: subject, Controls: subject, etc so that at least I can filter them out.
3) add the author name, or first 8 chars of author to the subject so that I can filter base on who's talking .. jpf321: subject, steamhead: subject, etc. 
4) denote in the RSS whether it's a part of a current topic or a new topic: RE: subject, NEW: subject

so all together: NEW: Steam: jpf321: subject OR RE: Controls: Gerry G: subject

i have a feeling that more people would use the RSS if it wasn't such a jumbled mess
