R-410A Oil
I have been recently told that a vacuum pump will not pull moisture from POE oil,you must use a filter-drier to remove the moisture. If that is the case, what is the procedure for repair on a system which has developed a leak and is found to be down to atmospheric pressure? What is to be done with the moisture in the oil?

I have been to a few classes and was told the same thing. And I wonder if adding one or two external crankcase heaters would help in freeing the oil, both,POE and PVE of that nasty moisture. But there is also the acid effect done to the oil's after the oil's have absorbed the moisture. And would installing an oversized acid neutrilizing suction and/or liquid line filter driers do the trick. -
