hope the links and photos work.
Awning mounts are a bit of a pain to install, but I do think they looks sweet and provide a good option when the roof lines don't cooperate.

solar awnings
both of yours look totally sweet, in a way looks even better than a roof installation, as it's performing a dual purpose it looks like it was always meant to be there. -

awning mounts let you get an optimal slope in a way that usually looks pretty good. here too, like the evac tubes above, they can offer a secondary benefit as a window or door awning. -
Solar Interceptor
I installed this homemade collector years ago and it still works great, collecting energy and keeping out the hot summer sun.

The cobble is making himself some shoes
I am looking to put up some awnings on my own home, I figure nothing speaks louder than me saying " yes I do have that on my own home". Any suggestions on collectors to use?Cost is what you spend , value is what you get. -
If it were my.....
place I do the Buderus SKS flat panels. They have more of a track record than the evac tubes. -
Energy Savings from Awnings
For some reason I don't get too many jobs for solar awning down in Florida. How much energy savings from awnings can you save from this? If it is worth it do you think I should push these sales more?
