    Import Garbage

We make an absolute effort to purchase only domestic supplies.  Having been burned by Chinese valves that don't pass mercury tests, elbows that are threaded on a 94 degree angle, and fittings with sand holes, we wasted days in labor replacing the garbage.

It's unfortunate that the big manufacturers have adopted sending this crap with their boilers.  We have to throw it in the garbage.

Yes, our prices are higher than many, but we tout to customers that our materials are first rate, American made.  We harass our suppliers and insist that they don't even consider sending us anything that says China on it.   We've left suppliers and buy some of our stock direct from the manufacturers in bulk.

Unfortunately, suppliers deal more and more with the public and with Mexican handymen who want the cheapest crap they can buy.  It matters little to them if they spend a half hour changing a Chinese valve if they have saved four dollars.

They can keep those customers and we'll take out commercial account elsewhere.
