dirty condensers
hello
can anyone recommend a product for cleaning A/C split system air cooled condenser coils. I've tried a few products but not any good results. on a warm day the head pressures are very high (over 400 psi) the condenser doesn't look obviously dirty except maybe for being discolored. when I find this problem at someones home it can be alleviated by a little spinning type lawn sprinkler but of course that's not a real fix. does anyone know of any good cleaning agent?

Usually water
will take care of your problem. I always hook up to a water hydrant and backflush the cond. coil. If there is grease, use a degreaser on it. The problem with dirty coils is it takes time to do it right and people think that they shouldn't have to pay someone "just to spray water on the coil"

Dirty Cond coils
as Don said ,possibly a degreaser. What is the outdoor air temp there?Check the air temp into the cond coil,it could be higher than ambient! What is indoor air temp?Does the cond unit have two rows of cond coils?Non condensibles?
