Drainback Combi-system Photos
Amigos,
For some time, I've been meaning to post some photos of my Drainback Comination System. I'm grateful to this forum for all the design help I received while putting this system together. The system has seemed to work well (based simply on amount of Propane used), but I'll need a few years to get some strong data.
There's nothing like putting a system together to gain experience. Clearly, If I could do it all over again, I would research more and probably change a couple of things.
I welcome any questions and am eager to help if I can.

Consider an electronic solar control. Just about all brands allow you to do data logging or heat metering. That would give you a good idea on what the system is 'harvesting" for you.
Be sure you have adequate bracing and mounts on the collectors. Those flat roof installations can catch a lot of wind. Some installers add a 3rd brace on the end collectors, especially on 8 and 10 footers.
