    Boy have I ever!!

    One time a customer asked me to look at their 2nd floor hallway AC ,the hallway was warm. So I check out the rooftop unit directly above the hallway,and I condemned the compressor because of leaking discharge reeds. With permission I replace the compressor, the unit is running BEAUTIFUL.,the hallway is still warm.UHOH!! The hallway unit is 100' away from the hallway,and it needed a new tstat. This was just last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
