    Low temp heat pumps

    Just a comment on this Thursdays article about the valves being developed that will enable heat pumps to work at lower temperatures. The language in the article is a little vague. It claims the new systems can maintain higher efficiency down to lower temps. What about capacity? Maintaining capacity at lower temps would be a good thing that would extend the geographic area of heat pump use. Efficiency not so much. Maybe the writer of the article misused words. WW
