Buffer Tank Question,,,

if you have a 42g buffer on 3 zones operated by zone valves(not constant circulation),, and solar gain keeps the stats satisfied(in daytime),, then you must "wait" for the entire buffer to become completely heated before any heat goes out, right??
Remember Uni R?,,, he had an idea using a monoflow tee that could supply heated water to the zone(slightly tempered from the cooler buffer) right away,, any advantages?

for heat comes on it can flow from the buffer. But you need to have a control that knows the tank has enough temperature to do some heating.

On high temperature baseboard or convectors, the solar may not get warm enough on some days.

Some installers pull from the buffer tank with a mixing device on outdoor reset. This way you can pull that buffer down to the lowest possible useable temperature based on conditions outside, inside and in the tank.

The lower you pull the tank temperature down, the more efficient to solar becomes.
