    lennox BCC3 board

    I have acustomer with lennox oil furnace he has had 3 bcc3 control boards instaled,problem,fan wont turn off at pre set time.INTERMITENT.The other companys wont return to service e -mail ainc74@qwestoffice.net

    that board is junk

    they always burn out in less then 5 years.
    1) Does this furnace have A/C?
    2)Do they run the furnace with continous low speed?

    If you answer NO to both of these questions you have a no brainer simple fix. Wire a 5'' fan/limit control to the heating speed. Bring L1  to the fan side of the control, wire the load into parallel with the heating speed. Punch a hole in the plenum and screw her in. Now either the board can turn the fan on (when it feels like it) Or if the board relay wont turn the fan on the bi-metal fan control will.
    I;ve dont this to several lennox furnaces that have that piss poor board. Besides useless boards and garbage clean out doors im not a big fan!

    Sorry didnt read your post properly

    Ive only had problems with those boards not turning the fan on, never not turning the fan off. Fan/limit will still be a good fix tho
