Any Non-Professional Wallies Ever Go to Deadman's School?
Even though early January is a busy time at work for me, I am thinking about going to Dead Man's Steam School in Astoria.
Any non-pro's ever attend one of these? Is it appropriate for a non-pro?This post was edited by an admin on December 11, 2010 6:36 PM. -
Yep
I went to the one in Baltimore last month, and it was well worth the trip. I'd say go for it!
Cheers,

i went to astoria last year ....
dan gives a great presentation, and he has all his wares for sale at discount .. food is decent. you will be surrounded by pros .. but sit up front, (you know only the geeks sit up front) .. sitting up front put me next to an engineer (rather than a mechanic) and a father with his teenage son who only learns the "dead arts" .. steam, b&w print photography, and a few others .. i admired his foresight into the past.
