Dumb is Dumb and that is all there is to it-

In recent months there have been six of these incidents in hockey rinks. They are in my estimation the result of the ceiling infrared heating units or Co-Ray Vac units along with propane operated Zamboni that are not properly tuned and tested.

In two instances I found high levels of CO in the locker rooms of two local hockey rinks. Detected by my belt carried PPE carbon monoxide tester. I am in those locker rooms because my daughter both coaches high school girls hockey and also plays in a semi-pro league.

Over the past few years this has been a case far to often. In most cases police on duty in the rink, league officials, rink owners look at me like I have three heads. One police officer actually wanted to confiscate my detector because, he said, "it looks suspicious to me, what the hell is it anyway that would cause carbon monoxide".

They really do not do anything about these CO incidents and there is not a CO detector anywhere.

I have similar issues with forklifts in Lowes and Home Depot that run on Propane.
