    A Family in Need

    Please read the following story:

    www.alyssaannmonticciolo.webs.com

This is one of my "adopted" nieces and her family is in a real bind.

A raffle is being held to raise money to help offset the mounting medical bills, currently just over $30,000. First prize is a 51" Samsung HDTV. Second prize is an Apply iPad.

Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3/$20. I will be processing credit card donations for them, or you can mail checks to me at:

    Eugene Silberstein
    150 Farm Road East
    Wading River, NY 11792

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at (917) 428-0044.

    Thanks for helping out.
    Eugene

I can do it on the phone

I will have to take the information manually over the phone, as I have not set up an automatic link for credit card processing.

I will pay any fees at my end, so any donations will go, in full, to the family.

    Thanks for asking!

    Going Strong!

To date, the raffle has raised just about $4,000 for the family. We are hoping to raise a total of $6,500 before the drawing on Alyssa's birthday on September 9th.

Thanks to all who have included Alyssa in your thoughts an prayers!

    So Far So Good

The tally is at just about $7000!

The baby is up in Boston right now. The right side of her heart stopped pumping so she had to make an emergency trip up there.

The drawing is on her birthday (September 9) and we are hoping that she will be home to pick the winning ticket herself!

    Thanks for your support!

    Drawing is this Friday!

Thanks to all who purchased tickets, made a donation, and/or included Alyssa in their prayers. She was back in Boston for about three weeks getting another treatment and came home last week. She will be picking the winning ticket on her third birthday, September 9. The drawing will be taped and posted on her site: www.alyssaannmonticciolo.webs.com

    Good luck to all!

    Final Tally

On behlaf of the Monticciolo family, I would like to express a sincere, heart-felt thank you to all who have included Alyssa in your thoughts and prayers.

Many of you who purchased raffle tickets to help the family, wrote Alyssa's name on the tickets. Well, on September 9, Alyssa drew out a ticket and the winner was selected. The video-taped drawing will be going up on her website:

    www.alyssaannmonticciolo.webs.com

To cut to the chase, Alyssa picked one of her own tickets! Instead of keeping the television for themselves, the family has decided to donate it to the Ronald McDonald house located near Long Island Jewish hospital. The Monticcioli family has stayed there more often than they would have wished and decided that this was a perfect way to return the goodness that this facility provides.

A total of $8,800.00 was raised to help offset some of their bills!

    Thanks again to all!
    Eugene
