    5-ton Unichiller internal pump

    it's a beast. a real beast. BLC70/100 1.25 HP pump.

anyone know what it's power draw is? I can't find this info anywhere.

I'm a little stunned that this unit has a design pressure drop of 90 feet of head. that nine zero. for 12 GPM???? really???

    Rob,

Here's a link to spec sheets with electrical data, and pump info.
I put one in a few months ago, cooling only for now, with Unico green series air handlers and smart control board. I was pleased.

    thanks

but this doesn't break out the pump's electrical data. it must be a good part of the overall draw here, that's a real beast of a pump! *sigh*...

do you know if the COP takes pump energy into account?

do you know if there are any charts for water temp vs COP/output/outdoor temp below 120 deg F outlet temp?

I'm glad to put one that is already out "in the wild" to good use but I have to admit I'm a bit shocked at the GPM/head requirements at work here. Never seen anything like it residentially.
