Heat pump TXV?
How does a TXV handle the reverse flow of refrigerant in a heat pump?

txv
a heatpump txv has a built bypass. When it goes one way it gets metered into the evaporator, when in heatpump mode it Bypasses and allows full flow through it.

A couple of ways
Some use check valves to go around the TXV, some use a newer type of BI-flow TXV.
