    drill

Good eve. My old corded drill is on the way out and I will soon start shopping for a replacement. If anyone can share their advice/experiences with different makes and models I would greatly appreciate it. I do a lot of drilling and tapping steam mains for main vents. Thanks.

    good drill

When it comes to corded power tools, I've used nothing but Milwaukee since I started my first business in 1974...still have the original Sawzall, right angle and 3/8" corded drills that I bought back then......and they still work.
    Enough said.

Milwaukee Sawsalls Have Declined In Quality

I am sorry to say that I believe that since the advent of Big Box Stores and the need to value engineer products to meet their price point,  the venerable Milwaukee sawsall has declined in quality to that of no better than the low end brands.

They are costing on their former high quality and durability.

    and I

I  also use Milwaukee but not for as long as Al. has :) drill's, cordless, sawzall, circular saw. Love them all and abuse them non stop. They can take the punishment...

    try 'em all

see which fits you hand best, and how you can reach all the buttons and levers. Dewalt always gets high reviews in the comparison tests. Check out JLC or Fine Homebuilding sites, they do a lot of tool testing.
