DIRECT VENT BOILER ON STEAM SYSTEM
Does anyone know if they make Direct Vent Gas Boilers on a Steam System. The Chimney runs right through my kitchen and I would love to remove it. The Direct Vent Boiler would really help me out -
you might want to
post this thread in the gas section or main wall posting area to get a response. Be it oil, I could have given you some direction. Good luck -
SORRY
Sorry for the mistyping not sure what I had in my mind at the time. I have a OIL boiler in a one pipe Steam system and looking into getting a new boiler in the near future so I've heard about these Direct Vent Boiler and would like to know if possible in my case -
not familiar
with a direct vent gas boiler but another option would be to add a power venter to a boiler. I personally am not a fan of them because it's another motor running which creates noise but it may be an option for you...Make sure to get the stainless, it holds up longer.

Chimneys are a good thing though... I would keep it. less issues down the line.
