    Honeywell T8775A 1009 Digital Rounds

    Just received a case of Honeywell Tradeline Digital "Round" Thermostats for a municipal job.  Honeywell assured us that they were not made in China.

    Well every one has a sticker on it that says "Made in China".   And guess what? 

    Evey last one that we tested reads 75 degrees in a 68 degree room.  Why are we not surprised?

    I'm getting awfully tried of this garbage.

    I would

    go to the Pro series. They have unfortunately killed off any quality round thermostats, the T87K was and is a piece of you know what. Too bad mercury thermostats are no longer sold. Wait until all these batteries that are needed for thermostats find their way to the trash. Also sad to find a frozen house due to a dead double "A"

    All gone...

    The entire case went back to the supply house.  No more Honeywell for us.  Not only is it Chinese junk, but their service people tell you it's domestic when you call.  No time for that nonsense.
