    What type of antifreeze should.....

    What type of antifreeze should I use in the radiant floor?  It needs to be protected to +10*F.  Thanks in advance!

    propylene glycol

    You should use propylne glycol.

    Not just propylene glycol....

    but it should also be corrosion inhibited propylene glycol.

    And don't "guess" at how many gallons its going to take. Do the math and figure out how many gallons said tubes will hold, and then premix the glycol (30% minimum for corrosion inhibition) and pump that mixture in until said system is completely full.

    Don't forget to turn the makeup off and put a low water/low pressure cut off in.

    Don't use the RV type of non toxic propylene glycol antifreeze. It has NO inhibitors in it.
