pumping away ?
So would this be considered pumping away ?....or would the exp. tank be better off between supply and circulators ?

The diagram
On the right is, but its pumping into the boiler, and could pop the relief if you are running high static pressure. Not so if its a standard residential application as far as system height.
If you use the alternate circ location then the X tank would have to be moved.
The diagram on the left is not pumping away.
Should have know better......
