Buderus GB142 Boiler Outdoor Reset Control Affect Indirect Water Heater Efficiency in Summer?

Hi!  Just had a Buderus GB142 Boiler installed at my Wisconsin home and next week will be installing the matching ST-150 indirect water tank.

In the summer months when the boiler is not being used for heat, does the Outdoor Reset Control unit have anything to do with how efficient the water heating goes?  I'm new at this Mod-Con stuff...having just replaced my old Burnham oil burner.

Also this boiler was just put in last week and I noticed they mounted the outdoor reset on the South side of my home where it will get sun every day the sun's out.  Should I have them move it to a shaded location on another side when they come out to install the water tank?  Thanks much for the help!

    If its wired....

right the boiler will ramp up for domestic. Yes by all means move the sensor to the northside of the house. that was a mistake.
