    replacement baseboard covers

My house has Haydon hot water baseboard. After 12+ years the baseboard is starting show rust and just looks bad. Is it possible to purchase replacement covers or does the whole element have to be replaced?

    you can

buy just the "Dummy board" which has no element. Is it 750, or 950?  I think they are now 758 or 958 or other way around?  The 7 series is basic baseboard, the 9 series is high output.

    Powder Coat

If the metal pieces aren't dented, take them to the local powder coater.
Or you (or a handyman) can spray Rustoleum on them.
Remember, the factory paint job will look like crap in 12 years, so do something better.

Never, NEVER use latex paint. It has water in it. Water rusts steel.
