    lost art of steam heating

    The book "The lost art of steam heating" Page 159 step 4. Refers to 390 pounds per hour of condensate. In chart on page 156 it shows 2psi diff,3/4 pipe capable of handling 200 lbs per hour. Need some clarification. Thanks all.

    Safety factor

    The chart on page 156 has a roughly 50% safety factor built in.

    So to get actual capacity, multiply that particular chart by about 2.
