Any ideas - Buderus GB142 ramps up slowly
Going to call tech support this week but thought would ask. My GB142-24 on a call for heat to air handler zone heats up to around 99 with the fan in a low speed as I listen to it and watch through the (mirror) and see the ionization lit and some flames....after about 5 minutes, the fan kicks into a higher gear and then starts to heat the water up to the 130 set point pretty quickly.
The delta T is less than 10 degree difference during this initial startup so the unit is not throttling it back. Any ideas why it would do this? The issue I have with it is the ionization is staying lit/on more than necessary as is my air handler pushing more air through the house without a higher heat, causing some dryness/more electrical $$.
Thanks
Slow Ramps:
Skip one Latte at Starbucks and it will more than cover what you MIGHT spend on electricity on the slow speed ramp up for the next two or more years.
