High Pressure Zone Valves?
Does anyone make a 3/4 c Zone Valve that will work in a high pressure hot water system. I'm having a problem with a typical Taco zone valve, bad water hammer as it closes which vibrates through the entire building. -
Taco Zone Sentry
valves are a "ball" style of zone valve that may be what you are looking for. Go to taco-hvac.com for more info. Thanks, Gary -

Maybe you should consider either a pressure activated bypass, or a frequency drive based on delta P, and do your client a BIG favor.
Remember, the solution is rarely in the same room as the problem.
Another commonly overlooked fact, is that higher Cv valves have LESS resistance to blow by when closed (excluding cylinder and rotary ball type of operators).
MEIt's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy. This post was edited by an admin on February 2, 2012 10:13 PM.
