    Ridiculous header of the week

Wonder how they came up with the B dimension......

A radiator on the second floor sounded like a clothes washer

    Could be worse.

At least it has swing arms. And at least he didn't use copper. Galvanized is close, but I think if he'd used copper and no swing arms it'd be perfection.

    galvanized pipe

I have a customer that has a bunch of galvanized pipe that he wants to use on a condensate line. Is that going to be a problem?

My near boiler piping is not as bad as that photo, but I am getting ready to post a question about making some changes to my system.  I live in a suburb on the east side of Detroit and was wondering if you could give me the name of the company that did your boiler installation.  I have a Trane two pipe vapor system, but the system was altered when a new boiler was installed several years ago.  If I make some changes, I'd like to use a good company that knows their way around boilers.

I think you contacted me a while back....

Not sure if you got my reply email.....

Anyway, if you do a search with the 48230 zip code, the company that pops up is the guy to call. He did my boiler replacement and was awesome. However, if you like....I can come over and look at it and give you my opinion (homeowner point of view). It might be within your skill depending on how bad it is...

Some knuckleheads do use steel pipe

this looks like a Dunkirk. Not only is the header too low, but too small.

What does the pipe do after it goes off to the right?

Also, looks like there is a loop seal underneath that main vent that is too high for the present waterline.
