    Nicholson Hi Capacity Thermostatic Trap

    Here is a Nicholson high Capacity Trap.  Pipe size is 3/4".  Not sure what it is rated.  Never used.

    Current connected load EDR= 1,259 sq ft, Original system EDR = 2,100 sq ft Vaporstat, 13 oz cutout, 4 oz cutin - Temp. control Tekmar 279.

    Can't seem to find specs on that

    are there any more numbers on it? Do you know the seat orifice diameter?

    I Will Open it and Check

    Frank, I will see if I can get this opened up and measure the orifice.  I also just corrected the original post.  The pipe size is NOT 2/3", it is 3/4"!  Ha!

    the dimension is....

    Sorry for taking so long on this.  I tried to measure it and then forgot to get back to you.
    I took the top off of the trap and then used drill bits to try to determine the size of the opening.  1/4" bit was loose and sloppy in the hole.  3/8" would not fit.  I seem to be missing my 5/16" bit, but I'm guessing that is probably the size.  I also opened up a Dunham 1E and the orifice in that looked about the same size.  So, while it is a pretty nice size, it is not as big as I thought it would be.
