    Help. What are the flow rates coming out of this Tee?

    If flow z = 6gpm, what does x and y equal?

    flow x = ?
    flow y = ?

    The 3/4 inch side loops are equal in every way. (length, elbows, etc...)

    flow rate

    since both loops [x,y] are equal, then the flow must be the same in each.
    due to the incompressibility of water, then the flow will be 3gallons in each.--nbc

    Don't get flow rate confused with velocity.
