    under ground tank

Underground tank with clogged line....they used to have two pipe system....return line is plugged probably due to partially clogged line....now the supply line is completely clogged 25" of vacuum.. Lines run in ground in a finished basement....I know I shouldn't blow back back because of possible foot valve at tank....system is running temporarily with a fiver gallon oil tank with oil line in it....one option is install brand new tank in basement....question is does anyone have any advice on how to unclog thus oil line without digging up old tank or installing new one in basement....feel bad for customer old lady no money.... Thank you Paul S

    plugged line

Paul, do you have a push/pull pump? Did you try to blow back to the tank already?  Not all installed foot  valves, so you may just need to blow the line. If it does blow back, I would back flush it with STR-2, or some additive to help clear the line. You can also run a line down the fill, if it is a straight shot, by making a T-Y, or dig up the lines
