    410 help needed!

Helping a friend diagnose 410 system but I've only done one.

Suction temp 68*, 78* day, liquid pressure 230, suction pressure 115, and top of coil is 68* or so and bottom of coil is 45*. Lots of air flow. TXV installed but non adjustable. Small Rheem system. Have not looked up the size but maybe 1.5 ton. Small.
Working on steam and hot-water systems isn't rocket science....it's actually much harder.

Liquid side of A coil sweats bad. Top clean.

    410

Sounds undercharged. The liquid line is at saturation temperature. Superheat of 30 possibly too high.

What was the indoor wet bulb?

    Wet bulb

    67* in house.

My liquid line was 300 psi. Coil sweats super bad.

82* and 35% in the house. Bottom of coil super cold. Top hot.

    AC

Undercharged. Low side pressure should be closer to 160 with about 20F superheat. Subcooling should be per manufacturer's guidelines or 8-15.

    Rheem chart

1.5 ton ton 13 SEER chart with matching N coil...

At 80 out, heat would run from 270 to 324, low side 105 to 165. Without knowing the load, no way to guess where in that range it would be. Usually with the house comfy, probably closer to 290 head, 140 suction. Like JStar said, 20 superheat really common out of a Rheem TXV setup, the RANL-018 calls for 11 subcool. By comparison, the cheapo cube calls for 7 subcool so look at the chart that came with the outdoor unit.
