    Tru Blu

I use for everything but oil lines/tanks/ect and LP, I like leak lock for LP and refrigerant {if needed}.....

Tru blu is easy to use and stays good in a lot of temps, natural gas and water... they say oil too but I havent had great luck with it and oil...

    Teflon Tape &:

    So do I.
I ALWAYS use Teflon tape, no matter what. And I've used a lot of MegLoc.  I stopped using it not because it didn't work, but because the liquid always came out first, no matter how much or how often I stirred the can. It would get hard and I never found any product to dilute it with. Then, the brushes would break off in the can. I tried contacting them but they never responded. So, for water pipes and plastic threads I use Rectorseal #100 with Virgin Teflon. Sounds erotic. On gas or oil, I use tape and Rectorseal #5 Gasoila or Blue-Mol. If you get it on your clothes, it never comes off. I used to see a guy around that used a lot of #5. It was all over his clothes. He must have always worn the same work clothes because although they appeared clean, he was almost yellow from the #5 stuck to his shirt and pants. And if you have the cap lose and you put the can in your tool tray and it tips over, it runs all over your tools and you can't get it off. Even PVC cleaner won't take it off. That's nasty
