Did you decide on a boiler brand ?
As a first step I highly suggest you count all the radiators and how big they are to determine what size boiler you need . An oversized steam boiler will give you nothing but headaches . Do you have a service contract with an oil company ? Do they install equipment also ? I work for Meenan and we install steamers all over the Island . Just remember , most if not all companies will not pick up any warantee issues with equipment bought by a customer . And some boiler companies will not honor a warantee if the boiler is bought by the end user . Are you in the trade ? My opinion , the Burnham V8 is an amazing steam boiler . The Peerless EC series is great too , but I like the compact design of the Burnham . And both will perform excellent for decades if piped right , cleaned properly and maintained yearly .
