Scott, that is quite the showcase installation! You should be proud of your employees for doing such an outstanding job! How did you distribute the panel radiator piping? Remote manifolds? To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"

Job
Awesome job Steve/Scott. How do you like the pump and mix stations? I've started using them more and I am happy with them. To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -
Ray
The panels in one part of the house are being feed from the zone valves you see. The other panel in the other section of the house will have the same. The sub panel is done with P/S piping. its about
3,500 feet. Not that big but the owner wanted control of the house. The Owner was is very happy with us and keeps telling the other trades how the should be more like us :) :). Good thing we get along with these guys but we're still getting some ribbing. Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -

WOW
I see my favorite North Shore P&H company has produced another masterpiece. It truly is a work of art! Way to go Milne P&H!! TSGT Darin Cook, Air Expeditionary Forces, Iraq -
Accolades from Iraq
I can't imagine a higher compliment :) Thanks for all the nice words. After reading post I realised that I might not givin Steve enough props. Steve Regan has been with us about six years now and started right before he got his Journeymans Lic. He is a top shelf installer who obviously plans out his installs. I can't help but think we would'nt have this type of work to do if not for the wall. Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -

Ken
1) Design temp is -10 and the panels are sized for 170 degree water. Logomatic control handles the outdoor reset. 2) Heat load is 110,000 3) Net IBR on the boiler is 117,000. Indirect is a 79 gallon. 4) Ken, Ken, Ken. ( more than 20K less than a million ) Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -

We could'nt do this work if it was'nt for friends like you and Darin. Your right though ! Next time the price is higher ! Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -
There goes that bar again...
straight up. This place never ceases to amaze me. Awesome install, Scott & Steve. Put that one in your "brag book" to show to future customers! -
VERY NICE
Very nice! Attention to details are a fun to see. Craftsmanship is second to none!! -
Excellent work

You have
2 of the best boiler installers in the world , Scott . Chris ( in a league of his own ) , and now Steve . Guys like this are worth their weight in gold . Ten times over . Did you know I have a file with all the job pics your company posts here ? They're just too damn good not to save . -
Years ago an old boss had a calander that had a quote on it.
" When love and beauty work together expect a masterpiece " Well when a good design is given to a Great Tech you can expect a masterpiece. This house was a summer home that had been spec'ed for year round use. I had some good conversations with the owner who was very open to new ideas. We wound up with A Buderus oil fired boiler with a horizontal tank. Heat emmitters will be Buderus panels with some Runtal for a tighter wall space. Radiant will be in the bathroom, Living Room and Kitchen. The house had an small basement and due to ledge will have two basements with no crawl space between. I came up with a design that has circulators and a mixing station for the new part of the house and a sub panel of zone valves and I-Radiant valve for the old basement. Steve does wonderfull work. Standard-Setting
Pristine does cover the pipework, Scott. Hats off to Steve! I *was* going to bust your hump for the water puddle, but then thought better of it. You are a friend after all... Custom mix for Buderus Blue paint? I like how that really integrates the job. -
i Love it*~/:) Wall to Wall :)
gives one time for right contemplation:) This is valuable to ,The Work. as for the water, were it not for water on the floor the truely observant would wonder what were you trying to hide. i have always considered swamping the deck, part of the finish :)the only way to do that ,is put water on the deck....:) sharp. very sharp indeed:) Thanks for sharing. -
Pristine
That's a good word to describe the pipe work. It's an adjective that rarely pops up when describing boiler rooms but certainly applies in this case. Pristine makes one usually think untouched by human hand but, in this case, it's a creation of the human hand and mind. You're lucky to have a guy like Steve. -

so now I'm the
So now, I'm the bad guy?..... Hey, its friday, off to Ireland to help with the flood -
Scott,
Could you share the following: 1) Design temp (coldest day of year temp.) 2) Heat load in BTU's. 3) Net I=B=R output of the boiler. 4) Ball park complete install price to owner (between 10 and 15K; 15 - 20K; over a million)? -
Steve's piping work
really is pristine. He did'nt like the PAP going so close behind the boiler so he ran it in 3/4 copper and put clic's on either side. Nice huh ? The piping runs are the feed/return for the sub panel. Hot and Cold and a recir. line. At first I did'nt like the spacing with the 1" on the top and bottom but themore I looked I saw what he was doing and like it. I knew some one would
mention that :) They had just purged out a zone and the hose fell out of the bucket. OR.. its just the begining of an afternoon in Ireland YA thats it, the floods are coming. Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -

awesome job! but...
Awesome job, Scott ! But, what's leaky? As there's water on floor coming from where? -
The water's from...
all the ProPress fittings leaking, that will never leak (;-o) Busting chops as usual. It is one of the nicest installs I ever saw! Love the concrete lintels under the unit(s)! Stronger and nicer looking that a "pad" IMO. Especially when a bedded in steel-trowelled mortar! If Steve has any desire to wok in NJ, my son Scotty could use a hand! -
Heres the mixing station in the boiler room
The mixing station works off the 241 card in the logomatic. Nice color blue huh ? To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -
Sub panel location
Buderus Panel radiator, and other photos. The bathroom and Kitchen will have radiant in the floor, walls and cieling. I said it before but I would'nt be thinking of jobs in this way if it was'nt for the famous people on the wall. Thanks to Dan for hosting this site and allowing my business and I to grow and better outselves. Scott To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional" -
Yup!
You got it Ray! All in good fun. Wet the whistle not the feet. Brad -
The wet spot...
At least it's under the soldered section and not under the pressed fittings! ;-) Very nice work! You must be very proud of him!
