Wire both zone valves to the thermostat with the largest load and reset the antisipater to the new current draw.....

I think I would splice a single thermostat wire into both zone valves so when the zone's thermostat called for heat both zone valves will open

If they're Taco 500 series, can a Honeywell CTIII handle what I think is 1.8A? (0.9A each)? I thought most stats can only handle up to about 1A. But I'm somewhat ignorant about this. thanks.

For hydraulic reasons, I need to make 2 smaller zones in a space that really only needs one stat. Assuming Taco zone valves and a standard 24V setup, what's the right way to do this? thanks.

Wire zone valve 1 to thermostat. Wire end switch of zone valve 1 to open zone valve 2. Wire end switch of zone valve 2 to start circulator.
