It's OK

Gordy, a perfectly soldered joint is certainly more beautiful than a propress one, no doubt about it. My problem is the time to make it beautiful. But, hey we're all different that's what makes this world go around.

Towel Warmer

@ December 10, 2013 9:07 PM in Runtal and Raditors piped together

I have a Buderus NB, the tappings are 1/2". it's piped in 1/2" off of a 3/4" baseboard loop with a 1/2" bypass (no monoflo tee's). The supply piping is below the towel bar, it heats perfectly. Everybody should have a towel warmer in their bathroom!

FYI the mounting hardware is plastic.

As Ironman

has said water, no problem. Once we changed a valve out on the fly, we couldn't find the main.

Pretty Much

how it goes with vehicles, but we still give drivers licenses to teenagers, it's all about responsibility. Besides it was only a switching relay and it didn't even get hurt!

Stupid Question

@ November 25, 2013 4:42 PM in Triangle tube not reaching setpoint

how is the house temperature?

A Link to the Other Post

would help

I see it's a Trimax, are you running one ODR curve or two??

Which Control?

@ November 24, 2013 6:50 PM in Triangle tube not reaching setpoint

Trimax or MCBA?? More than likely it's a setting in the control. Just my opinion. Move the pump to 2 and see what happens.

I Hate

@ October 26, 2013 4:56 PM in Vitodens 100 leak near air vent

to say it but I've only had luck with channelock pliers once the boiler is hung on the wall otherwise you can forget about tightening that fitting. There isn't very much room available to get at that fitting. I have also had the same issue with the blue o ring on the air vent going bad. Good thing is tape and dope seems to remedy the problem.

Thanks Anthony

but not by my choice, it's always the customers.

Good Luck Anthony!!

The 3 speeds

@ October 16, 2013 8:23 PM in head loss for mono-flo

give you some adjust ability to tweak the system. A true monoflo system has a very low head loss. I learn from the guys here too ya know. I have seen a hacked up monoflo system or two that needed a higher head circ to over come the issues.

A Little Sad to Hear

@ October 16, 2013 8:17 PM in I'm finishing up the seminar part of our business.

My boss and I always try to attend any event we are able to that Mr. Holohan is going to speak. He was certainly given a gift that we have enjoyed. Like they say all good things must come to an end. On the bright side, I have two years left.........

@ October 16, 2013 7:25 PM in head loss for mono-flo

speed # 1 on the 15-58, it should work fine as long as the monoflo loop hasn't been "hacked up" into more than one zone.
