@ February 15, 2008 7:29 PM in Plumbing: 1.5\" line OK for kitchen sink & dishwasher?a kitchen is code by the IPC. w/ a 1.5" vent. IS a 2" line better sure. IF The bathroom is wet vented but nothing else can tie into that... area of the wet vent.

@ February 14, 2008 7:52 AM in Indirect vs.Tankless efficiency?Wayne is correct...however in your case you have 2 apts plus you and you use the steam boiler to make hot water...year 'round...I would suggetst 3-40 gallon electric water heaters....each tapped into its own apt.eletric service (presuming that every apt has its own service)I usually tell apt. owners to do this because tenants don't conserve what they don't pay for. This way you don't have to pay for someone elses 30 min shower...electric water heaters are very easy to install compared to gas. kpc

I can't quite see how to light up the thermocoulpe from the motor side anfter pulling off the cover. Its in a very old weil-Mcl 57....It will be coming out soon , Very soon. kpc
