@ June 4, 2013 2:49 PM in Amateur Hour gas boiler installcoil of copper in the first Pic. Looks like expansion joint to the Max but with quite an artistic flair. Gotta get one:)
@ May 18, 2013 4:42 AM in Lofgren case settles...No one needs that. In the law and insurance business you have to have an acceptance of what it is. There are things that are going to happen which you may not like. You have to live with it.
Those lines are what I was told by a very prominent lawyer along time ago.
@ May 14, 2013 1:34 PM in Plumbing Forum?I wish the guy who started this whole thing would just ask the damn question instead of seeking permission:)
@ May 12, 2013 5:24 PM in Need opinions on kitchen faucet brandsIt must be Mother's day. While you are out and about, in addition to the new faucet, pick her up a new chain saw :)!! Sounds like a Hallmark moment!
@ May 12, 2013 2:16 PM in Steam at WorkWhat a trip! I grew up around that area. Went to a high school about 100 miles east.
@ May 7, 2013 6:12 PM in Taco on Fox Business NewsI would love to walk through the factory and watch this stuff being put together. I'd pay for it. Taco has a kind of Smithsonian aura!
@ May 3, 2013 2:32 AM in Lesson learned NEVER let the wife tag along to the home showWe get a delivery from UPS or Fedex about once a week. Most of the time, what it is, isn't made known to me.
I've made it very clear to both of the drivers that we are seeing way too much of each other. This week the UPS gal saw me standing in the doorway dreading yet another package. She started this shuffle with her shoulders and hips and loudly humming the tune from Jaws.
Well today I saw the auto child seat on the garage floor.Oh no I thought, she's coming home with something so big that the back seat had to be flipped down. Luckily she was just helping a friend with the SUV. Sigh of relief. Whew, that was a close one:).
@ May 1, 2013 12:19 PM in Honeywell Mixing ValveI looked and could not find any. Can you come up with some literature?
@ April 26, 2013 8:57 PM in Very NiceI'm wondering if the tune was the inspiration for Valley girl by Frank and Moon unit. Although Frank was all original and a genius.
@ April 20, 2013 11:11 PM in come on wethead buddiesWhat is the most controversial, mixed up, over analyzed, under analyzed, rarely understood, seemingly simple but with lots of baggage, and will never have a ending to it's meaning in the hydronic world?
I think I just earned a $100.00
Now I'll take delta P for $100.00
@ April 19, 2013 2:03 AM in trouble free furnacesEasy now - Last I heard she now is residing in Arizona, which is a good place for her!
As for ourselves it's Indian. You know it's between Girdwood and the big city.
@ April 16, 2013 6:14 PM in trouble free furnacesThat's a tough question. BTW I ran into an Enstar guy I know and he told me about gas down there. There is a meeting for anyone at Badarki Inn at the end of June. His discription of it was "How not to blow yourselves up" :)
@ April 15, 2013 5:14 PM in Will air in line effect heat output of BBOf course I'm in agreement with every written up top.
Back to orriginal queston. After a good power purge it now has a fresh jolt of oxygen. And from this gas comes microbubbles wanting to wreak havoc on the iron stuff.
It's my understanding that these microbubbles do in fact provide insulation causing the emmiters to not release as many BTU's. Of course this would need validation in a Lab.
Will air in line affect heat output of BB? Yes,final
@ April 9, 2013 5:15 PM in Single faucet issuesDid you ever notice that skim lactose free milk tastes just like regular whole milk?
See that? Not only do you aid in keeping yourselves and others from freezing to death, but also get nutritional and/or gourmet tips! What a site!
Now about your plumbing- Is the dip tube rotting? Of course if you have a tanklees my point is moot.
@ April 5, 2013 12:42 AM in Colorado Monoxide Case Moves Toward TrialDuring this whole thing I've never read about who owns the house. I'm sure their homeowners policy was hit for the policy limit. Whoever the owners are they must feel horrible.
Taking on a case like this is a complex and expensive matter. Both sides must feel rather confident in themselves.
My bet- They will settle
@ March 23, 2013 5:14 AM in LOUD Lennox PulseI remember this one.
Now, let's see. Ignorant neighbor problem, very loud and louder, it's simple and inexpensive, yourself are 100% competent, (no worries here) (?), end of rope (easy on that one) and the ever popular heath problems.
As you mentioned, I think it's time to bring in a lawyer to really screw things up:)
As far as youself working on your neighbors stuff. There has to be a better way.
Hope this helps!
@ March 22, 2013 1:39 AM in I've always found better musicians here!Frank, from your first picture up top I was wondering about who plays lead in a 7 member band that has 2 tubas:) I guess about 78 sit ins helps out:)
I always like John Barbas music stuff. One was that Little Feat was not in the R&R hall of fame but ABBA was. Finally something he didn't have to explain to me;)
@ March 13, 2013 1:37 PM in 275 gal oil tank basic basement install adviceWas Wall street crime syndicate, speculators, hedge funds, catastrophic failures and weeping. Then along comes that wonderful,"Just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to getcha" :)
